Saskatchewan Joint-Use Schools

Wright Construction alongside Bird Construction, Concert Infrastructure and Johnson Controls completed 18 new joint-use schools located in Saskatoon, Warman, Martensville and Regina. The joint-use schools project was the largest schools build in Saskatchewan history. The new schools which were delivered under a Public-Private Partnership model with the Government of Saskatchewan accommodate 11,100 students from pre-kindergarten to grade 8 — 3,300 in Regina, 5,700 in Saskatoon and 2,100 in Martensville and Warman. Each joint‐use site includes two schools: one public and one Catholic, along with a 90‐space childcare centre and community space. Joint-use schools are co-located so that they share a roof and spaces such as gymnasiums and multipurpose rooms.
