We have an exciting opportunity available – We are seeking a Permanent Full Time Senior Superintendent to join our
team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of crews. This position
manages multiple crews at a time and is required to work in weather extremes outside. This position
is required to be on site but also attend office meetings and may be required to conduct work outside
of Saskatoon limits. This position is required to maintain a valid driver’s license. As schedule is a
priority, the ability to work overtime is also often required.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

1) Organize and direct project workflow
2) Hold and participate in various meetings
3) Schedule deliveries
4) Perform internal manpower management and subtrades/suppliers management
5) Manage QA/QC program
6) Understand environmental requirements
7) Manage on site project team (SC, Foreman, Asst. Super, Safety)
8) Participate in management discussions
9) Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance.
10) Train new employees.
11) Enforce policies and procedures
12) Participate in confidential topics, such as compensation, profit/loss, and HR interactions
13) Be a mentor and leader for Superintendents and Foreman, and actively participate in
developing team culture and promoting Wright Construction culture and values
14) Be a leader in safety culture
15) All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Possession of a Journeyperson Carpenter ticket is considered an asset.
  • Valid Driver’s license required
  • Valid SCOT or CSTS Certificate
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Construction Supervision experience required; ability to supervise a crew of 10 or more.
  • Knowledge of the building process and detailed knowledge of all aspects of the concrete trades and practices is required; ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
  • Must have strong communication, planning and organization skills.
  • Understanding and commitment to safety required.
  • Ability to work with others and gain their respect. Ability to take responsibility, make decisions and drive execution.
