The Preston West development is the fifth phase of the Preston Crossing Shopping Centre located in Saskatoon. This project included base building construction for six new buildings as well as site work. Four of the buildings are steel structures, while the other two buildings are a mix of structural steel and wood framing to provide cost savings to the owner. All buildings have matching exterior finishes involving a combination of aluminum composite panel entrances, cladding accents, masonry feature walls/pilasters, and EIFS finishes. Along Preston Avenue, three buildings include featured display glass with etched images creating an inviting shopping atmosphere for entering customers. This project involved navigating the needs for fifteen unique tenants in order to have a successful turnover of each building.
