The Cree Nations Treatment Haven was built to serve Ahtahkakoop, Big River, Pelican Lake, and Witchekan Lake First Nations, replacing the existing centre with expanded treatment and wellness services. The three-storey, wood-framed facility features a complex structural system incorporating wood and steel framing, hollowcore components, and glulam roof trusses. It includes resident rooms, administrative offices, a gymnasium, commercial kitchen, workout area, and shared gathering spaces. Outdoor pathways connect the facility to a teepee site, firepit area, and lake access, supporting cultural activities and land-based programming.
